Office Safety Precautions in Effect During the Pandemic 

HTG is taking the following precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus. 

• Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy/testing rooms has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing.  

• All staff and therapists will wear masks. 

• All staff and therapists will maintain safe distancing. 

• Restrooms are for emergency use only.  Soap dispensers are maintained.  

• Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the waiting room. 

• We schedule appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room. 

• We ask all patients to wait in their cars or outside until no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment times and then clients may wait for therapist in main lobby on 2nd floor. 

• Payment must be processed via credit card in SimplePractice to eliminate any need to exchange money or pens. 

• Physical contact between therapist and client is not permitted. 

• Toys or other HTG supplies will be used on a very limited basis with our child clients and will be sanitized after any use. 

• Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis. 

• Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.
